We use Learning Journal as the platform to share your child’s achievements and their day-day life with us. It is an app that you have access to with your own secure log in to see photos and videos! At the start of your child’s journey, you will be invited to download the App with log in details.
The Learning Journal was created by childcare professionals, it helps reduce folders and paperwork and gives you ‘real time’ insight to your child and their time with us.
Under your child’s photos and videos, you will see that these are then merged and linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum areas which is great for tracking and to see progress.
In the App, there is also an ‘At Home’ section where you can upload photos of activities or achievements that you think may be beneficial for your child’s Key Worker/Pre-School to see! This could include things that your child loves doing at home so we can look to include this as an activity in Pre-School! It also helps to see what they are doing or have achieved at home, especially if they don’t currently do this in Pre-School.
We love to know what is unique about your child and want to help support them where we can… uploading can be the perfect way for us to do this!
